Practice Ice Information

• Unofficial Practice Ice Update - November 13, 2009
  We have had to make some adjustments to the Practice Ice Schedules due to an error in Entryeeze, the online registration portal.  Originally we understood that Entryeeze would limit the number of practice ice sessions that each competitor could purchase but that was not the case.  Due to this issue we had some competitors with an abundance of practice ice sessions and others with very few or none.  We have moved some competitors from one or two of your practice ice sessions to allow for the competitors with very few or none to get a session or two.  You will receive a full refund or credit towards merchandise for any session that we remove you from.
  
  Also, our pairs and dance teams weren't always able to get on the same session because they were purchasing sessions separately and then they would fill up before the other member was able to get on the same session.  Obviously the teams need to be on the same practice ice session.  We had to move some dance and pairs teams to make room for another team to be on the session together or to put you on with your partner. 
  
  The bottom line here is that we wanted to use Entryeeze to make it easier for all to schedule their own practice ice sessions.  We have run into a few glitches along the way but we thank you for your patience as we have been working them out.  We apologize for the mistakes but are sure that you can appreciate that the LOC felt these changes were necessary as we are trying to make this as fair as possible or all parties involved. 
  
  

•  Official Practice / Warm-up Ice explained
  Official practice sessions are on the schedule.  If you have purchased the package, the competitior will receive what was defined in the official annoucement. Warm-up sessions cannot be assigned until the start orders are posted the first day of practice, November 17th, 2009.  As for the official practice session, Entryeeze will only allow the competitior to be assigned one session at a time, thus the first scheduled official session is what the competitor is assigned in Entryeeze.  The official practice groups have been posted with official practice session times.  The warm-ups will be posted on the official bulletin board.
   

• Split dance/pair team unofficial ice resolution
  Apparently there are several sessions in the dance and pairs that two teams have 1 skater each in the session.  The LOC will be determining in the next day or so who will be getting those sessions based on several factors including when the team practice there unofficial ice.  You will be notified of any changes made to your schedule.
   
• Unofficial practice ice update
  Unofficial practice schedule has increased the number of skaters per session which will allow for more availablility, however, the number of sessions will not be increased.  If a session does not have a skater reservation by November 11, 2009 @ 11:59 PM, the LOC reserves the right to either change the type of session or combine it with another discilpine.
   
• Official Practice Ice Deadline
  The deadline for Official Practice Ice Packages was October 31, 2009.  We have extended it until this weekend and there are a number of you that have not signed up for you official warm-up and practice ice sessions.  We have a number of dance and pair teams that have only 1 member that has purchased official practice ice.  If this was done intentionally please disregard this notice.  Please understand if you are in a dance or pairs event and your partner has not signed up for the official warm-up and practice ice your partner will not be allowed on the session.  Deadline is November 9, 2009 and purchasing the Official Package will not be allowed at registration.

• Some new unofficial practice sessions have been added.  We have combined some free skate and dance sessions.  They are marked as combined.
  
• Practice ice will be available beginning on Tuesday, November 17th. ALL can only be ordered only online using the Competition online portal. Official Practice must ordered by October 31, 2009.  Unofficial practice ice will be available Noverber 1, 2009.
